Nicole Ari Parker has worked in television, film, and on stages. The actress is best known for playing Teri (the fierce attorney) Joseph. Nikki Kodjoe became her stage name upon her marriage. In 2002, Canadian reviewers praised her performance in 92 productions of the play. The actress accepted an invitation to enroll in Stratford's conservatory, a program which allows just four men and eight women are able to take an intensive 20-week course of classical theater. Contractor's participation in the next play-season was confirmed and she got the part in Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
